Thankful

We had so many things to be thankful for on our Thanksgiving trip...

I'm thankful that my I got my hands on so many adorable babies!

Emma:

Little Steve:

And Charlie!

Thankful that Zoe, Hannah and their cousin Lily had so much fun together.

Thankful that my kids have an awesome Grampa:

And the best Big Memere:

Thankful for the coloring books from Great Gramma that kept the kids busy in our hotel.

Thankful for a great hotel pool and a great husband that will play with the kids until they are tired.

Thankful for very tired kids that actually slept in the hotel.

Thankful for aunts and uncles and cousins who cook for us and play with Zoe and Hannah and make our trips so easy!

Thankful to be home safe and sound!

Busy, Busy Daddy

Kevin has been working A LOT lately.  (Poor Kevin!)  And that means I have let a few things slide.  Maybe we go to Dunkin' Donuts before the park on Saturdays...

Maybe we have chocolate chip pancakes for supper while simultaneously crafting...

But as long as we are having fun (and I only have to yell a few times a day...)  Anyway, all this working means that Hannah has to come to Zoe's dance class each week and sit in the waiting area with me.  I am ever so thankful for this 10 year old named Madelaine who plays with Hannah the whole 45 minutes.  Here she is letting Hannah help her with her homework.  (They could be sisters, no?)

And here they are at the studio observation class.  (That's Zoe in the black leotard.)

And speaking of dance class, Zoe is doing so great!  All the kids have improved so much from last year. It's so fun to see!

Finally, here is Zoe and her cat (yeah, he has chosen her) sleeping last night.

Happy Halloween!

Trick or treating was a success!

Hannah said her bag was too heavy.  She put it in on her back at the end of the night and just turned around and let the grownups toss the candy in.  It was hysterical!

Halloween morning was the Harvest Celebration at Zoe's school.  All the kindergarteners sang and danced for us and it was adorable!  Can you see Zoe?

Speaking of kindergarten, a highlight is walking past "Apple Dog" on the way home.   Usually she drops apples from the tree in her yard over the fence for the children to throw back to her.  On this day she had a frisbee.  The kids shriek with laughter.  The curmudgeonly owner says as long as we tire her out...

Hannah has been going to library group once a week and is getting the hang of sitting still for a few minutes and doing a craft.

Fun on the static-y slide!

Read us a book before bed time!
