Hot, hot, hot!

The weather this summer has been way to hot and humid for my liking.  So we've had to adjust our schedules accordingly.  Playground in the early morning.  Breakfast on the bleachers:

Unfortunately, the kids aren't content to sit in the air-conditioning for the rest of the day like I would be.  So we bought a kiddie pool.  They LOVE it.  (Of course the neighbors probably think we're crazy because we took out the above ground pool that was here when we moved in.  I just did not want big pool responsibilities especially with little kids...)

We've been having fun play dates because the heat is more fun bearable with friends.  Here is Zoe doling out pennies at the fountain.

Not that anyone needs more proof that Hannah is a nut.  But here are her recent dinner table antics...

Peekaboo!  Then she freaks out because she can't get the shirt off of her head.  Its not easy being one...

We headed down to the Delaware shore for a weekend.  The girls loved the beach on the bay side because there were only teeny waves.  They ran in and out of the water and played in the sand.

It was a perfect get away!

Friends with central air - we'll be calling you soon for a play date.  Friends without...we'll see you in the fall.  Ha ha!
