Moving on...

Although we are excited about our new house there are some things that make us sad about moving...

One of them is Miss Adrienne - she was Zoë's favorite teacher at school and now that we are moving we had to change daycare centers. Zoë sure was lucky to have such a great teacher! Today was Zoë's last day - we are all going to miss Les Petits Cherubs!

We are also really going to miss Emma and her mom who live next door. Sometimes they would pop through the hedge to say hello!



Have you noticed there are not a lot of pictures lately? Well its not that we don't think that Zoë is the cutest baby ever - we do! But now she is so, so curious all she wants to do is put her slimy fingers on the lens of the camera. And if she can't she whines. Therefore we have A LOT of versions of this picture:



Here is a picture from a few weeks ago where I tortured Zoë by putting her on the merry-go-round in front of K-Mart.



Or maybe it wasn't torture because when it stopped she started bouncing and smiling like she wanted more!

These pictures are for those of you who have been listening to Kevin and I complain about the floors at the new house. When we pulled up the carpet there was TONS of cement-like stuff covering the wood. (One of the contractors that gave us an estimate said it was a concoction of rug, under foam and too much residue from shampooing. He also said we had to remove it ourselves or else pay through the nose...sigh.) So here is a before and after shot.





Once the floors are sanded and coated (the end of this week) we are moving in! Yippee!
