Bananas!

Another day for the record books - Zoë had some real food today! Kevin fed her two spoons of mushed banana! She made a face that seemed to say it was pretty weird to have mushy stuff in her mouth, but she did not spit it out.

Anyway, all this banana eating came about because last week at Zoë's four month doctor's appointment, the doctor told us we could start some solids whenever we were ready. Zoë weighed in at 12.1 pounds (25 percentile) and 24 inches long (50th percentile). It seems we have a long and lean baby - perhaps taking after Aunty Sarah! Zoë also got shots at the doctor and ended up fussy and with a fever of 101.9. Tylenol and maximum snuggles were all it took to get her back to her old cheerful self.

On Saturday and Sunday Dadu and Chantal came to visit!

We all had a lot of fun hanging out. Zoë got some awesome presents - lots of cute clothes and a new dolly! And as Zoë's gift to us she behaved like a little lady when we all went out to dinner. Sunday we all hung out downtown and posed for this cute family photo:

This week Kevin came down with something. Lucky for him Zoë is a heat seeking missile and she found him and snuggled him back to health.

Zoë has become a lot more vocal this week. She especially likes making sounds together with us. And she is laughing like crazy. In case you didn't know, Kevin and I are quite hysterical. And if Zoë could get any cuter, I think she has now that she has taken to rolling on the floor and sucking on her toes...

I guess bananas don't qualitfy as "exotic," eh? I'm glad that Zoe is learning to eat her fruits. Pretty soon she'll probably even start to enjoy them!

Love you guys!
